Vincent and Joanne Stasi have been the owners of Vinjo's Martial Arts since 2001. Kyoshi Vincent Stasi is a 7th Degree Black Belt and has been training in the martial arts for over 40 years. Renshi Joanne Stasi is a 5th Degree Black Belt and has been involved in the martial arts for over 25 years. Between the two of us we have a combined experience of over 60 Years! Our school is family owned and operated, we believe in bringing out the best in each and every one of our students. Through the years we have taught thousands of children and being the proud parents of 3 children ourselves, we understand what parents want and expect from their kids. We have spent countless hours personally teaching classes and have furthered our knowledge by attending instructor colleges, being coached by some of the greatest minds in the martial arts industry, and have spent many hours
researching. We have been awarded one of the top 100 schools in the USA by Black Belt Schools International, won the WRAL Voters Choice Awards for 3 years, and have been awarded Instructors of the year. Our teaching style is about positive reinforcement, in fact our school's focus is on building "Life Skills" These are the skills our students will use every day in their lives, life skills are about confidence, discipline, focus, self-esteem, concentration, indomitable spirit and the ability to stand up to peer pressure. Our students will learn how to deal with a variety of situations from being confronted by a bully, how to control your emotions to how to stand up for yourself using your thoughts and voice.
